i have purchased WF43ATIBEDC# and
1. we wanted to know about its blacklight control where is VBL+ 19.8V... is it on board ?? .. and how can we control it ??
2. contras control - in LCD datasheet on pg 7 of 25 it is given about VGH and VGL , are they provided on board ??
3. Why DISP (display ON /OFF) pin of LCD (pin 32 ) in datasheet is RED, is it so because it is not available for programming , if so how it is controlled ????
4. another thing is we received a 32 pin FPC cable with LCD and it is not going into the connector on board of LCD so what we are thinking is if pin 32 (DISP) is not interface with microcontroller then can we cut it(pin 32) and then insert the cable

Ans:The B/L power has a generating circuit on board.You just need to control B/L on/off by pin 3 BL_E .

Ans:Yes,they have already provude on board.

Ans:This pin could control the display to turn on/off if you need power saving.

Ans:No,Pin 32 is very important.It control the display on or off when initial setting complete.

thank you for your reply .. now tell me what shuld i do with the cable which is not going into connector on board of LCD ..please give me a solution because my work is almost paused because of this thing????????

What do you mean not going into connector on board of LCD ?

mmmm mail ... i got the problem ... Winstar provided me a cable and connector with 34 pins and LCD has 32 pin connector .. so how can cable fit into the connector on LCD , and now dealer says that it is not possible to provide the cable and connector of 32pin before march , what a loss, my work is delayed because of your mistake, thank you very much for this great help , i appreciate it .
